Culture: Festival of Scarecrows in Sheriffhales, Shropshire
Now learned that the only place where I can see where the brouhaha going on in these parts, is in the newspaper.
And I get the newspaper, but never read them carefully. I'm going to be a little more attentive.
I was kind of down, wanting to ride one of these little parties in town, remembering my longing Feast of Strawberry and Grape Jundiaà until I read here that close at Sheriffhales, they would have a party to raise funds for the construction of the hall Meetings Village (village hall). And the theme of the party was Scarecrows. I believe this is the third party that they do to raise funds pro village is building or repairing monuments or churches in the village.
The whole community came together and decorated the streets of the village with scarecrows, all with different themes and fun - full of imagination. And tell you, sexy thing to see the whole community together, organizing and collaborating pro common good. Ooh good thing!
And again, I saw no commotion, agitation or setback - all well organized, friendly people, helpful and very polite.
For the kids was the fun part - how Sheriffhales is a rural neighborhood, had plenty of pets and farm tractors for kids learn to play. And George loves tractors. Alexia tava just relax in, enjoying the scenery ...
Since I returned to the UK more or less five years ago I had never seen a Maypole Dance , which is a traditional dance in Western Europe, where the dancers dance in a circle around a pole which is decorated with garlands, ribbons , flowers, flags and other emblems, all in celebration of spring. Here you will see more decorated with colorful ribbons.
At this festival I had the pleasure of seeing one, where the village children danced. I made up a short little film ...

You know, I'm not British, but my kids are, and that's all they know for 'home' and each day I see a little of the culture, traditions and values Britons dying to make room for cultural diversity.
Damn, beauty, everyone likes something different, but to annihilate the local culture to be politically correct? Where is the world coming to? Soon to celebrate Christmas will offend someone, that because the UK is traditionally a Christian country, then bag it? ...
Imagine, soon we'll all be a homogeneous mass of the same thing. Boring!
I want all cultures, each doing their prejudiced without the other and, if it fails to roll everything in one place, each seeking his corner and we're all happy!
Well, I think for those who live in Europe know very well what I'm talking about ... and not go into details so as not to generate controversy. Of controversy here in MY KINGDOM I already have and more so okay
and here I can, because the crown is okay in my head, okay?

So let the pictures right?
Here are some photos I took. The camera still has some of her husband, but of course they are not as good as mine
Nor, so I give it here the next.
